SalahBreak allows users and organizations to share their prayer calendars publicly. This page explains how public calendar sharing works and what to expect.
2. What gets shared
When you make your calendar public, the following information may be visible:
- Your calendar name (e.g., "Masjid Al-Noor Prayer Times")
- Calendar description (if provided)
- Prayer times based on your location settings
- Calendar type (individual, mosque, or organization)
- City and country (if you choose to share)
3. What is never shared
We protect your privacy by never sharing:
- Your email address
- Your personal account details
- Your exact location coordinates
- Any private calendar events
4. Visibility controls
You have full control over what is visible:
- Toggle public/private status at any time
- Choose which details to display (prayer names, times, descriptions)
- Update or remove your public calendar at any time
5. Moderation
To ensure quality and prevent abuse:
- All public calendars are reviewed before becoming discoverable
- Calendars may be suspended if they violate our terms
- Featured and verified badges are awarded at our discretion
6. Subscriber privacy
When someone subscribes to your public calendar:
- They receive prayer times in their Google Calendar
- You cannot see who subscribed to your calendar
- Subscriber count is aggregated and anonymous
